Getting Social with Event Marketing

 
These days, tradeshow and event marketers are getting social--that is, incorporating social media with their programs. In fact, research shows 47% think social media provides significant ROI in the promotion of an event. (Source: Digital + Exhibiting Marketing Insights 2010)

But besides expanding program reach, social media can extend engagement with attendees pre-, at and post-event.

While going social isn't necessarily difficult, there is so much to know and it changes so fast it can be confusing. Plus, many marketers already have just too much on their plate.
